Welcome to the Drenched 2026 private page — Please keep in mind that you must save & use the link provided to access it. Here you will find all of the information you’re going to need leading up to and during the intensive. A few notes to get started:
Water World RSVP (Friday, July 31st) LIVE Our Drenched group rate is $47.00 per person, saving dancers between $10 (advanced online price: $57.65) and $15 (at the door price: $62.38).
To take advantage of the Sweatshop rate, please RSVP no later than Tuesday, August 28th using the Google Form link, then Venmo $47 per person to @SweatshopDance with a note including your dancer's name(s) and total number of tickets needed. WATER WORLD RSVP HERE
Family members are welcome to attend and take advantage of the group rate! Please note: toddler tickets unfortunately do not benefit from the group reservation, it’s best to book those tickets online, separately. Tickets will be distributed at Sweatshop on Thursday, July 30th after classes.
Water World Details On Friday, all families are responsible for their own transportation; we'll meet up inside the park. Many of us will try to arrive early to secure space for our group, supplementing the gathering places (cabanas, tents, etc.) that returning Sweatshop families may have arranged. A handful of Sweatshop parents and faculty will be in attendance throughout the day and can escort dancers into and out of the park if needed. If dropping off, please be sure your dancer safely enters the park and connects with other dancers, parents, or faculty before you leave.
The park opens at 10:00 AM and closes promptly at 5:00 PM — group ticket holders are expected to be able to enter at 9:45 AM. Sweatshop representatives will be present until 5:00 PM or until the last dancer has exited the park. If your dancer needs assistance at any point during the day, please have them find a Sweatshop faculty member or reach out directly to the studio: 720-746-9489
Here's what your dancer will need:
Swimsuit
Towel
Sunscreen
Cover-up clothing
Cash for food and drinks
A phone (or a parent's number memorized)
Excited for Friday, please contact the studio with questions.
Training Assignments Training groups will be initially determined from the audition, which measured technique & style in multiple genres, and will be finalized using age, as necessary. Training assignments will be posted below shortly, available following final payment.
Schedule The initial tentative schedule draft is posted below. Though individual classes are subject to change, for planning purposes, each group’s start and end times are not. Please feel free to plan.
Special Opportunities Sweatshop will be hosting exclusive evening masterclasses during the intensive, in addition to the daily schedule. These classes will be open to the public; however, as space is limited, Drenched participants will have priority registration. Please note, though the classes will be suited to a preprofessional environment, the content and/or delivery of a class may be designed for the mature dancer, and may not be suitable for all ages and abilities. See below for more information.
Final Day: Water World Once again, we are excited to be holding a reservation at Water World on Friday, July 31st, 2026! An RSVP form will be posted here; please plan to RSVP no later than, Monday, July 27th. Applicable fees will be due no later than Wednesday, July 29th.

Special Opportunities
As a Drenched dancer, you have priority access to three extraordinary masterclass opportunities before we open them to the public — and we'd love for you to take advantage!
PAUL BECKER — Commercial Jazz Choreography w/Audition Focus
Monday, July 20th | 4:30–6:30 PM | Ages 10+ | $65 (regularly $168!)
Hollywood choreographer Paul Becker — 400+ credits including Disney's Descendants, The Last of Us, Deadpool 2, and The Kissing Booth — is teaching a special masterclass on the very first evening of the intensive! Paul will teach some of his own commercial choreography followed by a mock audition experience, giving dancers a rare inside look at what it takes to land roles in major film and television productions. Through Sweatshop's personal and professional industry connections, we're able to offer this opportunity at an exclusive rate you simply won't find anywhere else. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Sweatshop 2026–27 Company members are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to attend. This is exactly the kind of real-world, industry-level experience our Company dancers SHOULD NOT MISS!
GRACE LEMIEUX — Theater Jazz
Thursday, July 23rd | 7:00 PM | Ages 13+ | $40
Grace LeMieux, a Sweatshop alumni and Denver native, is a New York City-based dancer, choreographer, and educator who received her Dance Minor from Point Park University. A Sweatshop Dance alumni, her credits span Broadway, television, film, and touring. Select credits include the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Associate Choreographer on Broadway's Just in Time, The Penguin (HBO), Saturday Night Live (NBC), Assistant Choreographer for the NBCUniversal Upfronts at Radio City Music Hall, Off-Broadway's iLuminate, and Dance Captain/Production Assistant on the national tour of Cirque Dreams Holidaze. Her theater jazz masterclass brings the energy, precision, and artistry of a true New York professional back home to Sweatshop — don't miss this one!
BARTON COWPERTHWAITE — Broadway
Tuesday, July 28th | 7:00 PM | Ages 12+ | $40
Denver born and raised, Barton Cowperthwaite took his very first dance class right here with Brian Young — and look at him now. A Broadway performer, actor, and dancer whose credits include the Tony Award-winning The Outsiders on Broadway, Netflix's Tiny Pretty Things, FX's Fosse/Verdon, the national tour of An American in Paris, the Metropolitan Opera's La Traviata, and more! Described by legendary choreographer Lar Lubovitch as a "movement poet," Barton is currently starring Off-Broadway in Gotta Dance! His Broadway masterclass brings the full weight of a remarkable career back to where it all began. This one is personal — and not to be missed.
Please note that the $65 rate for Paul Becker's class is an exclusive, unpublished price for Drenched participants only, and the registration link below is private — we kindly ask that you keep both within our community. Grace and Barton's classes will be opening to the public shortly at the standard rate.
To register for any or all of these classes, please use the link below. Spots are limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis — priority access for Drenched families closes soon!

REGISTRATION DETAILS
Level Assignments
Intensive attendees will be placed in one of four color-coded schedules, assigned initially based on audition criteria and performance. Because we are fully committed to ensuring each dancer receives the most beneficial individual experience, and because audition performance doesn't always fully represent a dancer or their skills, level adjustments can and will be made following the first day of the intensive if necessary.
Placements are determined collaboratively by the intensive faculty and are final upon release. We kindly ask that all placement communication be held until after the first day of the intensive, at which point our faculty will have had the opportunity to observe each dancer in the environment and make any necessary adjustments they deem appropriate. We appreciate your trust in the process!

Parking
If you're a teacher or driver new to Sweatshop, you'll wish to park in the Denver Pavilions parking garage where we've developed an evolving arts partnership.
Specifically for Drenched, we're negotiating a "Downtown Dancer" validation arrangement that will reduce the daytime parking rate to a low flat rate, daily rate between $5-10. The Pavilions Garage is located directly across the street from the studio and offers a safe place to park, with quick and easy access to the studio area. If using the garage, please enter the garage at 15th and Welton, the system will scan your license plate. Drive to the south east section of the garage (the garage exit is there), and park. Scan any one of the QR codes available at the garage to register your vehicle with Metropolis and store a payment method. Upon completion of your time at Sweatshop, please scan one of our validation QR’s on the way out. From there, simply exit the garage, the reduced daily rate will be charged to your payment method.
Drop off & Pick Up
If dropping off or picking up a dancer, you'll find it best to drop them off right in front of the stairwell entrance, which is located on Tremont Pl, adjacent to our building. From here, you can closely watch your dancer enter the building. The stairwell leads directly to our floor (2nd floor), there's nowhere else to go. Prior to exiting the building dancers must check out with a staff member, and confirm they have communicated with a waiting parent/guardian. For younger dancers, we encourage a parent to come up, but we’re happy to escort them to you. Give the studio a call if you need assistance. 720-746-9489
