Drenched: The Intensive 2026
Welcome to the Drenched 2026 private page — Please keep in mind that you must save & use the link provided to access it. Here you will find all of the information you’re going to need leading up to and during the intensive. Here are a few notes to get started:
Coming up Training group outlines will be available on this page, below, following initial deposit deadline. Training groups will be initially determined from the audition, which measured technique & style in multiple genres, and will be finalized using age, as necessary.
A schedule will be posted shortly. The initial schedule draft will be tentative; however, for planning purposes, each group’s start and end times won’t change.
Special Opportunities Sweatshop will be hosting a couple of evening masterclasses during the intensive, in addition to the daily schedule. These classes will be open to the public; however, as space is limited, Drenched participants will have priority registration. Please note, though the class will be suited to a preprofessional environment, the content and/or delivery of a class may be designed for the mature dancer, and may not be suitable for all ages and abilities. Specific outlines will be provided closer to the Drenched or masterclass dates.
Final Day Water World: Once again, we are excited to be holding a reservation at Water World on Friday, July 31st, 2026! An RSVP form will be posted here; please plan to RSVP no later than, Monday, July 27th. Applicable fees will be due no later than Wednesday, July 29th.
Reminders The first deposit is due June 15th, with balance due July 1st, 2026. Full payment is required before dancers will be permitted to participate. If you feel you've received this email in error, please let us know so that we can remove you from future intensive correspondence.

Schedule
The schedule will differ slightly each day; once posted, please be sure to note your/dancers' own daily schedule. The studio will open at 8:30AM each day and doors will close promptly at 4:00PM each afternoon. Each day, all dancers will have a minimum 30-minute lunch break: you'll wish to pack a healthy, fully prepared light lunch, and plenty of water (drinking fountains are, of course, available).
Level Assignments
Intensive attendees will be placed in one of four color-coded schedules. All dancers are initially placed based upon audition criteria and performance therein. Because we are fully committed to each dancer is given the most beneficial individual experience, and because audition performance doesn't always best represent the dancer or their skills, if necessary, level adjustments can and will be made following the first day of the intensive.
Dress Code
Sweatshop's dress code is designed to provide dancers and faculty a professional atmosphere in which body lines are visible and clean, and external distractions are removed from the classroom. Female identifying dancers should wear a base of tights, black leotard, and black bootie shorts; hair will be worn in a bun throughout the day. In addition, dancers should come prepared with all shoes - Ballet flats and pointe (if applicable), Jazz shoes, dance-specific Heels (if available), Tap, and Hip Hop shoes. Below is the dress code outline for the intensive's multiple techniques:

Parking
If you're a teacher or driver new to Sweatshop, you'll wish to park in the Denver Pavilions parking garage where we've developed an evolving arts partnership.
Specifically for Drenched, we've negotiated "Downtown Dancer" validation arrangement that will reduce the daytime parking rate to a low flat rate, daily rate of $10. The Pavilions Garage is located directly across the street from the studio and offers a safe place to park, with quick and easy access to the studio area. If using the garage, please enter the garage at 15th and Welton, pull a ticket, drive to the south east section of the garage (the garage exit is there), and park. Scan any on of the QR codes available at the garage to register your vehicle and store a payment method. Upon completion of your time at Sweatshop, please scan one of our validation QR’s on the way out. From there, simply exit the garage, the daily rate, reduced from $26 to $10 will be charged to your payment method.
Drop off & Pick Up
If dropping off or picking up a dancer, you'll find it best to drop them off right in front of the stairwell entrance, which is located on Tremont Pl, adjacent to our building. From here, you can closely watch your dancer enter the building. The stairwell leads directly to our floor (2nd floor), there's nowhere else to go. Prior to exiting the building dancers must check out with a staff member, and confirm they have communicated with a waiting parent/guardian. For younger dancers, we encourage a parent to come up, but we’re happy to escort them to you. Give the studio a call if you need assistance. 720-746-9489
