What Families Are Saying

Best studio in Colorado. The only place to take your child if you want the best technique training to carry them through to adulthood and a dance career.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
— Sweatshop Dance Parent
Wish we would have found it sooner. The training is top notch while the environment is still fun. We’re happy our daughter is getting high level training and our family still gets to live a normal life — including vacations and regular school. This studio prioritizes growing and developing dancers both physically and mentally over being a profitable business and it shows. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
— Sweatshop Dance Parent
My daughter started very young, and even when she stopped dancing for a couple years, she was welcomed back with open arms. She just made a college dance team. This is by far the best dance studio we have found in Colorado. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Studio Policies

Attendance Policy‍ ‍Sweatshop is a preprofessional training program that requires serious commitment. Dancers may not have more than three unexcused absences in any individual class annually. Common unexcused absences include homework, family vacations, optional school functions, and fatigue. Excused absences require documentation — a signed note from a school official for required school functions, or a doctor's note for illness or injury requiring medical care.

No call/no show absences are unacceptable. All absences must be communicated through the office via email, phone, or in person. Dancers arriving late should contact the studio in advance. Unprepared dancers — those not in dress code or missing required shoes — may be marked absent at the teacher's discretion.

Weather Policy‍ ‍On days when weather closures are a possibility, we will contact all families via email no later than 1:00 PM. After monitoring school district decisions, current weather, and driving conditions, a final determination will be made. An average of 3–4 weather closures per winter is anticipated. Make-up classes will not be separately scheduled unless the annual average is exceeded or deemed critical by the faculty.

Code of Conduct‍ ‍A positive, respectful, and humble attitude from dancers and parents alike is essential to our program. Parent/guardians may not interrupt classes or rehearsals at any time. Concerns should be directed to Studio Director Brian Young — we ask that you "sleep on it" before reaching out, and trust that we are committed to supporting every dancer through their journey.

Sweatshop maintains a zero tolerance policy regarding all illegal substances, drugs, alcohol, nicotine, and tobacco on studio property or at any Sweatshop event.

Our Commitment Sweatshop has your dancer's best interests at heart — as a person, not just an artist and athlete. Trust the process. Give us time and space, we'll prove it works.

We Can't Wait to Meet Your Dancer

Sweatshop has your dancer's best interests at heart — as a person, not just an artist and athlete. Though the journey isn't always easy, we promise to support every dancer through the good and the bad, and to take each one as far as their dedication and talent will carry them.
