Masterclasses

PAUL BECKER — Commercial Jazz & Mock Audition
Monday, July 20th | 4:30–6:30 PM | Ages 10+ | $65

Hollywood choreographer Paul Becker brings 400+ film and television credits to our studio, including Disney's Descendants, The Last of Us, Deadpool 2, The Kissing Booth, and the 13-time Emmy nominated Julie and the Phantoms. Paul will teach his own commercial choreography followed by a mock audition experience — giving dancers a rare, firsthand look at what it takes to book major film and television productions.



BARTON COWPERTHWAITE — Broadway
Tuesday, July 28th | 7:00 PM | Ages 12+ | $40

Denver born and raised, Barton Cowperthwaite took his very first dance class right here at Sweatshop — and look at him now. Credits include Broadway's Tony Award-winning The Outsiders, Netflix's Tiny Pretty Things, FX's Fosse/Verdon, the national tour of An American in Paris, the Metropolitan Opera's La Traviata, and currently starring Off-Broadway in Gotta Dance! Described by legendary choreographer Lar Lubovitch as a "movement poet."

GRACE LEMIEUX — Theater Jazz
Thursday, July 23rd | 7:00 PM | $40

Denver native and Sweatshop Dance alumni Grace LeMieux has taken the New York dance world by storm. Select credits include Broadway's Just in Time (Associate Choreographer), The Penguin (HBO), Saturday Night Live (NBC) alongside Charli XCX, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, NBCUniversal Upfronts at Radio City Music Hall (Assistant Choreographer), and Cirque Dreams Holidaze (Dance Captain, National Tour).
